Oklahoma Quiz Bowl Alliance

About OQBA

The Oklahoma Quiz Bowl Alliance (OQBA) was formed in the fall of 2000 for the purposes of promoting quiz bowl competitions in the state of Oklahoma, spreading awareness among Oklahoma teams of the opportunities for such competitions, and increasing the competitiveness of Oklahoma teams in regional and national competitions. OQBA runs annual fall and spring tournaments and maintains a calendar of tournament information for local teams.

Schools and teams do not have to "join" the OQBA, and there are no "membership" requirements for attending our tournaments. All OQBA tournaments are open to all sizes of schools, public and private, as well as teams outside Oklahoma.

See the history and past list of OQBA tournaments and champions here.

2011-12 Upcoming Tournament Calendar

This list is designed only for open tournaments (no county tournaments, conference tournaments, or other tournaments which outside teams can't enter). Please send additions and corrections to Greg Oppel or the webmistress.
